Pantry ORGANISATION

No butler’s pantry in this house, but you know what, this cupboard pantry is far more functional for every day living and everything we use on the daily is right at my fingertips.

The three pull out drawers are life changing and the best way to store my Oxo Pop canisters. I have stacked these from tallest container at the back to shortest at the front so you can see every ingredient.

For the lower drawers I have used my favourite Mini separators to categorise items. The middle drawer holds packets and canned goods as well as the boys snacks. While the bottom drawer contains all our kitchen supplies - paper towel, food wraps, grocery bags etc.

I have included three turntables in this space which hold spreads, health foods and sauces. Perfect for higher shelves so you can still access items without having to shuffle things around.

To maximise the space of the deeper shelves I used mesh baskets and bamboo boxes to store larger packets of snack foods, baking items and extra tea and coffee supplies - things we don’t need to access each day.

The baskets on the top shelf hold extra supplies ready to be added to the canisters when we run low.

And don’t forget the amazing real estate that is the inside of the cupboard doors. I have added some acrylic shelves for my seeds and spices, and a menu board for our weekly meal plan

So, don’t feel like you have to include a butlers pantry in your new build or reno to have a functional and stylish kitchen.

And for those with a cupboard pantry, consider adding some pull out drawers to make the most of the space you do have available!!!

Tell me, what do you think of my new pantry space?!? Do you prefer the butler’s pantry or cupboard style pantry?
